Echoes From the Storm is a short experimental film that was written and directed by Alice Cano and produced by D. Ursus Magana. Logline: The story starts at the end and the end will take us back to the beginning, this is the story about a girl who is having a bipolar episode in which we recreate visually and physically what mentally being bipolar is, We will see this world through light and the electrical feel of a brain wave carrying a thought that is drowning in emotion, the world as she sees it in depression and euphoria, we are in her mind as she falls apart and rebuilds her self just to fall apart again.

yay I finished writing my final. Now to celebrate by excessively using tumblr and finally eating dinner.
Taken on day 2 of a 72 hour film festival my school was having. Waiting for the crew to get here. Looking raggedy because it was 7am
So I am starring in an experimental short film called Echoes from the Storm. Seems appropriate, right? There were quite a few freaky coincidences such as the film being due on my birthday, and the title.
Both Echoes from the Storm and The Trial of the Clouds were written and directed by Alice R. Strangeluv, and I got to work with some of the same people that I worked with on our TBM music video.
I don’t want to give away too much, but I will say that the sets were magical and I can’t wait to see it finished!

I just got another shot in my foot and it hurt worse than last time! I actually felt all the fluid crowd in between my bones and it felt like my skin was going to burst.

Please take a look at my video entry for The BIrthday Massacre! I wrote the story and did all of the production design as well as every prop and all the costumes! My boyfriend and I run Hoot Lenses (OvO) and this is the biggest and best thing we’ve ever done! I’m so proud of everyone who helped us along the way, and I’ve been exhausted for the two months it took to make this. So please take a look XD
